We are dedicated to the community!

The Hospital District exists to provide a place that others can best serve the health needs of the residents of Austin County.

As a board, we hold ourselves accountable to our community in regards to operating morally, ethically, and in a spirit of respect and service.  The District Board is open to any feedback or suggestions.

The 2025 Adopted Tax Rate was voted on by the Bellville Hospital District Board at the meeting on September 17, 2025. The 2024 tax rate was $0.0969 and the adopted rate for 2025 is $0.0976. A public hearing was held at noon on September 17, 2025 in the conference room of Mid Coast Medical Center-Bellville and the rate was voted on for approval at that time. Public Notice for Tax Rate Adoption on September 17. 2025

VISIT TEXAS.GOV/PROPERTYTAXES
To find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information
regarding your property taxes, including information regarding the amount of taxes that each
entity that taxes your property will impose if the entity adopts its proposed tax rate. Your local
property tax database will be updated regularly during August and September as local elected
officials propose and adopt the property tax rates that will determine how much you pay in
property taxes.
Follow the instructions to register to receive notifications regarding updates to the property tax database.

connected,” subscribe for tax updates, enter your email address and then click subscribe.
You may request the same information from the assessor of each taxing unit for your property,
by requesting their contact information from your county’s assessor at:
